Hello doctor,
I am a girl in her late teens. My height is 5 feet 4 inches whereas my weight is only 35 kilograms. If I take some food more than my regular food then I feel like vomiting. I am a student and sometimes because of my weakness, I cannot study attentively. Please help me and give me some advice for gaining weight by a healthy process.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for your query.
According to your height, your weight and BMI (body mass index) are normal. Firstly you should check your thyroid and stress levels. Daily exercise with a proper diet will help you in achieving your weight with fitness.
I suggest you to follow a diet chart. Alternative foods are also mentioned.
I suggest you to follow a few instructions mentioned below:
After all this, if you still cannot gain weight, you should take a whey protein supplement. Nutrigain is also good. Nutrigain is a protein supplement used to gain weight. There are no side effects if you take prescribed doses with a workout or exercise. The amount to be taken depends on your body weight and body type. Taking only supplements without exercise can lead to the following complications:
Also, It is important to take a good diet and exercise. If you do not have any other health problems and you are physically fit then you do not have to be tensed about your weight. It is better to avoid taking any supplements for gaining weight. Young people are always dissatisfied with their height and weight. Do not compare yourself with others by body weight or height. Aim for strength and fitness. Be satisfied and confident about your looks. Continue with a good diet and exercise and over a while, your body will change. Kindly remember weight gaining is a process that takes time. So do not expect any result within a fortnight.
I hope this has helped you.
Thank you.
