Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

About a year ago, I had intense pain and numbness in my right leg. X-rays presented no lower spine misalignment, so I was sent to physical therapy. Later I was asked to consult a chiropractor. In one session, he was able to relieve the pressure off of my sciatica, and I was up and running again. But now the pain and numbness are returning.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern. I suggest you to follow a few instructions mentioned below.

  1. Practice core and glute stability exercise to stabilize the spine so that irritation does not occur again.
  2. Spine extensions can be done 30 times, five to six times daily.
  3. Keep icing your spine.
  4. Gentle stretching of the gluteus, piriformis, and hamstrings can be done regularly.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
