Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I went to a physiotherapist eight months ago, and the doctor informed me that there was too much pressure on my knee. He told me to exercise to strengthen it and reduce the pressure. Unfortunately, my knee got sore while doing exercises like walking and taekwondo.

Two months ago, my knee began to ache at night. Even if I do not do strenuous work and be ideal, it still aches. Overall, my knee has improved when doing exercises but is sore when trying to fall asleep.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I would like to have more details regarding your issue.

1. Did you initially have any falls, injuries, or other issues?

2. Where is your pain deep inside, in the center or like the sides of the knee?

3. Do you have any restrictions on your activity?

As of now, with what you have narrated, I feel it to be more from muscles and would like to recommend you do the icing and gentle stretching for the quads, hamstrings, and calf muscles. Gentle massage over these muscles helps you to feel better.

I hope this is helpful to you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
