Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My dad, who is 66 years old, has a bladder tumor, and transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT) was performed last year. He started BCG (Bacillus Calmette-Guerin) treatment for six weeks which started two months after the surgery. We did consult doctors who prescribed Rasagandhi Mezhugu capsules, Keezhanelli tabletsNerunjil, and Kudineer chooranam.

We were supposed to visit the doctor last week, but we will not be able to travel for the next two weeks. Is it fine to continue the same medicines? Do you suggest any additional medication?

My father was prescribed heart tablets eleven years back due to an ejection fraction of 39%. He has had no heart attack and has never undergone any heart surgery. He has been diabetic for the last eight years, and a kidney problem was diagnosed seven years back. He also suffered from nerve deafness in the right ear five years back. Currently, he is taking tablet Plavix, Cardivas 6.25 mg, Lipvas 20 mg, Cresar 40 mg, Silodal-D 8, Multi 8, Gliclaz M, and Injection Lupisulin M 30 40IU/ML.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I suggest Rasagandhi Mezhugu (Gandhakam, Pooram, Paththra thalagam) and Nerunjil Kudineer chooranam (Gokshura, Goosebery, Haritaki) can be continued for three months. Navapashana sudar thailam (Vadha, Piththa, Kaba Noikal), take ten drops directly into the mouth using a dropper, or it can be consumed by mixing ten drops in milk. It should be given four times a day and consumed for the next three months. Poorana chandirodhayam (Swarnabhasma, Suddha Parada, Suddha Gandhaka) tablet in the morning one and night, one tablet should be taken for 50 days.

Above therapies prevent further metastasis and give the host immunity to destroy cancer cells. Please follow allopathic care as well. After three to six months, you may go for a review with the oncologist.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

We followed the Siddha medicine you suggested but Nerunjil chooranam we could not make daily. Last month we did a check cystoscopy and biopsy of the sample, and it says no evidence of malignancy. For the last two months, my father is not having any medicine. Can you suggest what medicine can be continued to prevent the malignancy from coming back? As per the urologist, intravesical BCG treatment will be continued for a duration of three weeks every six months for the next two years, along with check cystoscopy every six months.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

There is a good improvement, but the report (the attachment has been removed to protect the patient's privacy) shows minor issues. The disease is under control, I suggest continuing the treatment for many months, so Nerunji kashayam is to be continued daily for the coming months. It is an important drug for this condition. I also suggest continuing with all other Siddha medicines for the next three months. I suggest you undergo urologist treatment also. Both allopathy and Siddha combined treatment are better.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
