Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am an 18-year-old female. I am trying to lose weight and also diet. I do not eat junk food, even fried food. I am also doing exercise for 20 minutes, and I am also using weight loss subliminal for two days. It has been a month, but I do not see any changes on the scale. I have constipation, and I do not take any medications. I also drink green tea. Why am I not losing weight?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I thoroughly read your query and understand your concern.

I suggest you the following weight loss diet plan. Alternative foods are mentioned below:

  • In the early morning, at 7 AM, drink one glass of lukewarm water with half a lemon and one pinch of cinnamon powder.
  • At 7.15 AM, drink green tea and have four almonds.
  • For breakfast at 8.30 AM, have dal with boiled vegetables, one soup bowl, and two egg whites.
  • In the midmorning at 11 AM, have a fruit like an apple, sweet lime, orange, guava, or pear.
  • For lunch at 1.30 PM, have two pieces of multigrain atta roti, a veg curry, fish or chicken curry 100 grams, or soybean curry.
  • For evening snacks at 5.30 PM, have a vegetable or chicken stew half bowl or popcorn.
  • For dinner at 9 PM, have chicken or vegetable stew in one bowl (150 grams) and a salad one plate-full (three days a week).

1. Take plenty of vegetables and fruits.

2. Avoid fast foods, sugary products, chocolates, and ice cream.

3. Regular exercise is a must. You can do a morning walk for 20 minutes.

4. Monitor your sugar level regularly.

5. Drinks lots of water, at least eight to ten glasses a day.

6. Do not overeat.

7. Do not take the stress.

8. Use less oil during cooking. Try to use rice bran oil.

9. Sleep for at least eight hours.

Hope this has addressed your concern.

Kind regards.
