Hello doctor,

I have a habit of eating fennel seeds a lot. Could this be the reason for not getting pregnant even after trying for two years?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Fennel seeds can normalize your gastrointestinal tract and nervous system. It balances excess pitham. It helps in balancing heat within the uterus, that is very much essential for getting pregnant. So, daily consumption of fennel seed life long will never affect the pregnancy. You may continue consuming it.

Please check gynecologist or Siddha or Ayurveda doctor to evaluate why there is a delay in conception. Please check for your husband too. The reason may be identified for specific treatment.
