Aegle Marmelos is a deciduous tree with trifoliate leaves and greenish-white flowers, also known as Bilva in Sanskrit. It can treat dysentery and diabetes. It has anti-inflammatory properties and reduces inflammation in the body. Its juice, when mixed with honey, can reduce fever. It is rich in antioxidants and helps in insulin secretion.
