Youness Tanani., HUMAN HEALTH - DIET AND NUTRITION, MENTAL HEALTH AND ILLNESS
Medical Case Details:
Many patients especially with other chronic illness should not be treated by anti depressants at the first sight,
Many of those patients never get better with the time ,the dark side they just get addicted to anti anxiety medications and dependant to anti depressants.
In my opinion the right way of psychiatry must be based in bilogical side as well
In other hand : Anemia,Vitamin B, Vitamin D difieciency, abnormal hormones, tyroide hyperactivity lead certainly to a chronic depression accompanied by panic and anxiety attacks
I agree. As much as 50% a patients suffering from a chronic disease have depression. First we as clinicians should rule out chronic medical conditions.
I agree.Even as placebo drug ,this antianxiety drug is used for functional and panic attack patients and I have also observed that patients get these from.overthecounter medication and overdose happens.
What ever you are saying is unethical and complete misinformation @ Dr Viswa Saran Reddy and should be reported to the authorities. I request icliniq administration to take this down immediately since it is giving out a wrong message to people who might happen to read this blog.
I agree with you Dr.Youness... a lot of patients, especially females patients who present with a long duration somatic symptoms, weakness and low mood should first be evaluated for thyroid dysfunction and vitamin levels especially d3 and b12 before being started on antidepressants.
