About "Sonography"
Sonography or ultrasound is an imagining technique that uses sound waves (ultrasound) to produce images of the organs in the body. It is a diagnostic test done to detect abnormalities in the tendons, muscles, joints, blood vessels, and internal organs. Here, pulses of ultrasound are sent in the body by a probe, which echoes off the tissues in the body. The waves that rebound are recorded and displayed as an image. It is used to diagnose the cause of pain, swelling, and infection, and the development of the fetus in a woman’s womb.
